Modern Square Dance - what could be modern about square dancing?

  1. Dress is different (more casual) for many clubs!
  2. There really are dancers less than 100 years old!
  3. The music is more current!

Challenge Level?

Square Dancing still is dancing to a caller with well defined patterns or movements. There are many levels (generally 9) of square dancing with an increasing number of patterns that dancers are expected to know and be able to execute. Challenge levels are levels 5-9.
